A REBUILD STARTS WITH ANSWERS
Does your transmission need a rebuild?
Slipping, delayed engagement or harsh shifting does not automatically mean a rebuild. We evaluate the concern before discussing a targeted repair, rebuild or replacement. The right option depends on the findings, vehicle condition, parts availability and total cost.
Understand the concern
Tell us your vehicle’s year, make, model, mileage and symptoms. Share previous repairs or fluid service, warning lights and when the problem occurs. That helps us discuss the inspection and next step.
How transmission diagnostics work →Compare the available options
We explain what each option addresses and what is included. A lower initial price is only part of the decision; scope, vehicle needs and written warranty coverage matter too.

WHAT REBUILD WORK INVOLVES
Removal, inspection and an explained repair plan.
- Evaluate the vehicle. Discuss symptoms and the inspection or testing needed.
- Explain the proposed work. Review the estimate and any authorized disassembly needed to identify internal damage.
- Inspect internal components. During authorized rebuild work, the transmission is removed and disassembled to evaluate its condition.
- Complete the authorized scope. Qualifying components are replaced as needed, followed by reassembly, installation and operational checks.
A rebuild does not mean every component is replaced. Your estimate should explain the parts, labor and checks included, along with how any additional findings will be handled before further work is approved.

MAKE YOUR ESTIMATE EASIER TO COMPARE
Ask what the price actually includes.
- Which internal parts and labor are included?
- Are fluid, electronics, programming or relearn procedures included when needed?
- How are damaged hard parts or additional findings handled?
- What written warranty applies, and what follow-up is required?
Qualifying rebuilds have a limited 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first.
Extended warranty options are available, including 24 months / 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. Ask us about the available coverage for your rebuild when reviewing your estimate.
Your selected warranty, covered work, exclusions, customer responsibilities and required follow-up are governed by your written warranty terms and invoice.

LOCAL FAMILY OWNERSHIP. PRACTICAL ADVICE.
Consider the next repair—not just today’s bill.
Leo, our owner and master technician, began working on transmissions at age 15 and brings over 25 years of transmission experience to the shop.
When the transmission is already removed, we look at related concerns that could require the same labor again later. For example, if an engine rear main seal is leaking, we explain whether addressing it at the same time may avoid paying for another transmission removal.
That seal is an engine component, not part of the transmission rebuild. We explain the reason, additional cost and available options so you can decide whether to authorize the work.
